A new menu for the West Philadelphia collection
There’s been a flurry of interest in Caribbean food on PhillyBlog lately, so I thought I’d augment the growing (and soon to be organized) menu collection for those who might be interested. I already posted the menu for Brown Sugar but there has also been a great deal of interest in Taste O Home, a Caribbean restaurant at 6045 Baltimore Ave. One of the nice things about the place is that you can sit out on the deck right across from Cobb’s Creek Park. In fact, you can even take the Cobb’s Creek Bikeway to get there, for a nice outing. (From the East, I recommend riding the bike path along Spruce all the way out to 63rd St. and picking up the bike path there and heading south.) It’s a lovely location, and the food is quite good.
One note: On the menu, you’ll see their website listed as meltingpot.com That belongs to a chain of fondue restaurants.
